Kit Willett (he/they) is a poet, doctoral student, and executive editor of the New Zealand poetry journal Tarot. He has been published widely.

Originally from Tāmaki Makaurau, he now writes from Mania Rauhea.

His debut poetry collection, Dying of the Light, was published by Wipf and Stock in 2022.

Kit holds a First Class Master of Creative Writing from AUT, where he was a recipient of the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Postgraduate Study.
